There is a tip that we recommend, it is safe, inexpensive and above all very effective. Your ceramic hob will be clean in no time. All you need is a little white vinegar and you’re good to go.
This tip is the simplest there is. In three steps, you will have finished scrubbing and scouring your plate. So to start, apply white vinegar to the glass ceramic surface, then leave on for about 30 minutes.
After this time, rub with a sponge, while avoiding using the scraper side, which may scratch your baking sheet. When you’re done, your plate will be completely clean like new.
But in case there is still dirt, you pour a little dishwashing liquid on a sponge at this moment, and you rub the glass-ceramic surface again. Finish by wiping the foam with a sponge slightly moistened with water, then wait for it to dry.
Other uses you can do with white vinegar:
1- Clean the tap:
To clean your faucet, simply dip toilet paper in a bowl containing white vinegar. Then apply it on your tap so you can wrap it. Leave on for about 5 minutes and remove the toilet paper. Then use an old toothbrush to scrub the tap, it will get rid of all its dirt in no time.
2- Make the mirrors and the windows shine:
To clean your windows and mirrors well of stains and handprints, wet your cloth with a little white vinegar and rub. Then wipe with a dry cloth or allow to dry. You can also make your own cleanser by mixing 2/3 water and 1/3 vinegar in a spray bottle.
3- Natural disinfectant:
With all the bacteria that can invade the boards, white vinegar can be a great way to disinfect them. So dip your sponge in white vinegar and rub your board with it. The acetic acid in white vinegar will get rid of bacteria, stains and bad odors.
4- Remove stubborn odors from fabrics:
Certain odors are difficult to remove from your tissue. The antibacterial and antiseptic properties of white vinegar help neutralize bad odors once and for all. Dilute a third of vinegar in two thirds of water and pour the mixture over the affected area, leave it on for a few minutes, rub and wash your fabric normally.
5- Soften the laundry:
You most often use bleach to soften your laundry, but this product contains chemicals that are potentially harmful to health. So, for added safety, use the best one you have on hand, namely white vinegar.
Add half a cup of white vinegar to your washing machine to preserve the color of your clothes and make them softer.
