4The plants in our home are not just decoration, but a fresh and clean source of oxygen that you can enjoy. The more plants, the better. The plants give off good energy and vibrations that bring a plus to their decorative value. There are many small plants you already have in your home, but it’s time for you to add herbs that you can even use for cooking.
The most popular plants and herbs that you can grow in your home are: basil, parsley, coriander, chives, thyme, rosemary.
1- Invest in some Mason jars. You can find them in any grocery store or hardware store. You can even use recycled pasta or jars of pickles with soaked labels and well-washed jars to save money.
2- Do not start your crops of mason jars from seedlings. Use transplants instead. These will have roots that are a little larger and will be stronger and grow faster.
3- Drainage. To make sure your herbs are properly drained, drill a few holes in the Mason Jar. This step can be risky, so be sure to wear safety glasses and gloves.
4- Use a diamond cutter drill and cover the jar with cutting oil. Use even pressure and pierce slowly to avoid breakage. Make several 1/8 to 1/4 inch holes in the Mason jar. If you do not like the idea of using a drill, you can fill the bottom of the pot with an inch or two of stones or marbles.
