Curing anemia by eating certain foods

Anemia is a relatively common health problem, millions of people are affected worldwide. It is characterized by a lack of red blood cells in the blood. While there are conventional treatments for anemia, some natural foods can also help to deal with the problem.
Anemia occurs when there are fewer red blood cells than normal in the blood, or if the red cells do not contain enough hemoglobin. Due to the fact that one of the side effects of anemia is poor circulation of oxygen in the body, its symptoms usually include muscle weakness, chronic fatigue, lethargy and sometimes mood changes.

Severe anemia can lead to other, more serious complications, such as damage to the heart, brain, and other organs. While this is quite rare, anemia can even lead to death, if not managed as it should be.
Speaking of management, it is important to clarify that there are several types of anemia, some of which are caused by the malfunction of certain organs of the body, including sideroblastic anemia, hemolytic anemia and anemia sickle-shaped. These types of anemia cannot be treated with natural remedies.
However, anemia can also be linked to a nutritional deficiency, especially when your body lacks folic acid, vitamin B12 or iron. We need these nutrients and minerals to make red blood cells and to transport oxygen through the body through hemoglobin. As a result, the consumption of certain foods can help remedy this nutritional deficiency.

1- Spinach:
These green leaves are rich in vitamin E, A, C and B9. Spinach also contains minerals like iron and calcium. Eating half a cup of spinach a day can help reduce symptoms of anemia, as it has about 3.2 mg of iron.
But, due to the content of oxalic acid which affects the body’s ability to absorb iron, it is best to boil spinach leaves in water for about 2 to 3 minutes, in order to lower the oxalic acid they contain.

2- Apples:
Apples contain iron and other components that can increase the number of red blood cells in the blood. Adding Beets can also help boost the effect of the apple as it contains fiber, potassium and folic acid which treat anemia. You can prepare this remedy by cooking the beetroot and removing the skin. Mix the beet skin with the apple juice and mix them together.

3- Parsley:
Parsley is a great source of iron and folic acid. One tablespoon of dried parsley leaves contains about 5.5 mg of iron. This small amount can provide the daily net asset value that the body needs.
Parsley is also rich in vitamin C, which can combat some of the symptoms of anemia. You can eat a tablespoon of chopped parsley or boil half a cup of parsley to get your needed iron intake.
4- Sesame seeds:
Black sesame seeds also contain a high amount of iron. To consume it, mix a teaspoon of black sesame seeds in a cup of water, let it soak overnight. Filter the mixture in the morning, and mash the seeds. Add a tablespoon of honey to make a paste. Consume this paste 2 times a day.
